A Brief Word On This Site

First of all, if you’re reading this I appreciate it. I just want to inform any readers that this website is actually a second iteration of a personal website. The first site I had hosted over on GitHub. That site was almost all ctf writeups with the exception of a couple of posts I made on my CompTIA A+ journey. This post, the first of my new site, has two functions. The first is to let you know that I’ll be migrating my old posts over here. They occasionally make mention of my old job, time of year, etc. from time to time. If I mention Thanksgiving in a post made on here in June, I promise I’m not crazy it was just Thanksgiving when the original post was made. I’ll probably mark the old posts of mine with a tag as well as with something in the title potentially to let the reader know it’s an old post.

The second function of this post is to say I’m excited for this new site. As I type this, it’s still very much under construction, but I’m happy with the look and feel of it. As I stated before this is the second time I’ve tried this, and I don’t know how to classify the first attempt considering I haven’t posted on it much since last November I believe. To be fair that was when my work hours drastically skyrocketed from ~20 hours a week to ~56 hours a week leaving little room for doing ctfs, let alone posting writeups of them.

My goal for this site is to be more broad in scope than it’s predecessor. I plan on studying for the CCNA soon, and I wanted to post on whatever it is I’m studying. In addition to that, my full time job as a junior sys admin makes me want to learn some PowerShell. I also still work part time teaching kids how to program using basic game development so there may be some of that as well. In any case, I’m excited for all the possibilities.

Again, if you’re reading this, I want to say thanks for stopping by my site, and I hope to have more content for you to read in the near future.
